The Infamous Masterson’s , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my recent visit at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its walls was disturbing and far below any standard .
The State of Affairs: Grimy and Neglected
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that upkeep was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms filled the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and illness . The serving zone , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and trash that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The restroom was in even worse condition —overflowing , with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was feces.
It wasn’t just a rare instance either. Based on the experiences shared online and chatting with the community, it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a persistent problem . Many patrons have reported observing cockroaches darting across the counter and proof of vermin in the adjoining rooms. For a business that caters to patrons, these issues are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the integrity of their offerings.

Unfortunately, his reputation in the professional sphere is tarnished by a disturbing pattern of misconduct in his private dealings and professional settings .

As I asked around, I was appalled to find allegations against him involving misconduct , with multiple women accusing him of sending indecent material . Described as excessively forward and disrespectful , his behavior has created an unwelcoming setting for women who patronize Masterson’s.
